What it does

Jina Reader fetches a page and returns clean markdown; light use needs no API key at all. It is the fastest way to push a single article or spec sheet into a model without building a scraper.

Rate limits apply on the free endpoint, and paywalled or heavily scripted pages still fail. For bulk pipelines it overlaps with Firecrawl, so pick one rather than running both.
