Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information nexoralist.com collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It applies to every page on this website. We have kept it short and specific rather than long and vague.
1. Who we are
Nexoralist is an independent library of AI tools for export, sourcing and cross-border marketing teams, published at https://www.nexoralist.com/. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Nexoralist. For any question about this policy or your personal data, write to [email protected].
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers this website only. When you follow a link to a tool we review, or to any other third-party site, that site's own policy applies. We do not control how those sites handle your data.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you send us
If you email us — to suggest a tool, report an error, or ask a question — we receive your email address, your name if you sign it, and whatever you write in the message. We use it only to reply and, where relevant, to update a listing.
3.2 Information collected automatically
The site is served through Cloudflare's global network. Like any web server, it processes technical data in order to deliver pages and to defend against abuse: IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, referring page, timestamp and approximate country. This data is processed in server logs we do not build personal profiles from. We look at aggregate figures — how many people read a page, which countries they come from — not at individual visitors.
3.3 Information stored on your device
The site stores one small preference in your browser's local storage, under the key nexoralist-theme-v2, so that the light or dark theme you pick stays selected while you browse. It contains no identifier, is never sent to us, and is removed when you clear your browser data.
3.4 What we do not collect
There are no accounts, no sign-up form, no newsletter, no comment system and no payment flow on this site. We do not ask for, and do not want, your identity documents, financial details, health data or any other special category of personal data.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We do not set our own tracking or advertising cookies. Cookies that may reach your browser on this site come from third parties acting under their own policies, principally Google in connection with the advertising described in section 5.
- Strictly necessary: none are set by us; the theme preference described above uses local storage, not a cookie.
- Advertising: set by Google and its partners when ads are served, subject to your consent where the law requires it.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking advertising cookies does not break any feature of this site.
5. Advertising
This site is supported by advertising delivered through Google AdSense. The following points are required disclosures and matter more than the rest of this policy:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or to other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info or, in Europe, at youronlinechoices.com.
- Where local law requires consent — for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — advertising cookies are only used after you give consent through the consent message shown on this site. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time from the same message.
- Google and its partners process some of this data as independent controllers. Their practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Advertising has no influence on our scores or on which tools are listed. See how we vet tools.
6. Analytics
We do not currently run any third-party analytics or session-recording script on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated before the new tool goes live, and the change will appear in the "last updated" date above.
7. Links to other websites
Reviews and articles link out to the tools and sources we write about. Those sites are operated by other companies and have their own privacy policies. Following a link from this site does not give us any access to what you do on the destination site.
8. How long we keep information
- Email correspondence: kept for up to 24 months after the last message in the thread, so that we can follow up on corrections, then deleted.
- Server logs: retained by our hosting and network provider for the short periods needed for security and troubleshooting, in line with Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Aggregate statistics: counts and trends that contain no personal data may be kept indefinitely.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over personal data we hold about you:
- to be informed about how your data is used, and to access a copy of it;
- to have inaccurate data corrected, or incomplete data completed;
- to have your data erased, or its processing restricted or objected to;
- to receive your data in a portable format;
- to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal;
- to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion or correction, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising other than through the ad delivery described in section 5.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] from the address concerned. We reply within 30 days. We may need to ask a clarifying question to make sure we are not disclosing someone else's data.
10. Children
This site is written for people working in international trade and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13, or under 16 in the European Economic Area. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
11. International transfers
The site is delivered through a global content delivery network, and advertising is served by Google. Your data may therefore be processed in a country other than your own, including the United States. Where required, these transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or on the safeguards described in our providers' privacy policies.
12. Security
The site is served over HTTPS only, with HTTP Strict Transport Security enabled, and it holds no database of visitor information. Because there is nothing to log into, there is no password of yours that could be taken from us. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we keep the surface deliberately small.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles data — for example by adding an analytics service or a newsletter — this page will be updated first and the date at the top will change. Material changes will also be mentioned on the Model watch page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
14. Contact
Questions, corrections, data requests and complaints about this policy can all be sent to [email protected]. We read every message and answer within 30 days.
