HuggingChat

What it does

HuggingChat gives free access to a rotating set of open-weight models — Llama, Mistral, Qwen and friends — in a clean chat interface. It is the easiest way to test open models without installing anything.

Assistants can be customised with system prompts and shared publicly. Privacy is lighter-touch than commercial rivals, and no account is required for basic use.

Standout features

• Free access to leading open-weight models
• Switch models mid-conversation
• Shareable custom assistants
• Backed by the Hugging Face ecosystem
