Adobe Firefly

What it does

Firefly is Adobe's generator, trained on licensed and public-domain content so output is designed to be commercially safe — a real consideration when product imagery ends up in buyer-facing catalogues.

It integrates with Photoshop and Express for retouching, background removal and generative fill. Credits come with Creative Cloud plans; a free monthly allowance covers light use.

Standout features

• Trained on licensed content for commercial safety
• Generative fill and background removal
• Direct integration with Photoshop
• Free monthly credits
