CapCut

What it does

CapCut is the default editor of the short-video era — and its AI features (auto-captions, text-to-speech, script-to-video, background removal) work on the free tier. For e-commerce short video, it is the production line.

Desktop and mobile versions sync projects. Pro unlocks premium effects and assets; the free toolset already ships sellable output.

Standout features

• Auto-captions in dozens of languages
• Script-to-video and AI voice-over
• Retouch and background removal
• Free core editing, Pro for assets
